π¦ Classic Roast Turkey π½️✨
✨ Ingredients:
1 whole turkey (4–5 kg) π¦
4 cloves garlic, minced π§
1 onion, quartered π§
2 carrots, chopped π₯
2 celery stalks, chopped πΏ
100g butter, softened π§
2 tbsp olive oil π«
Fresh rosemary & thyme π±
Salt π§ & black pepper ⚫
1 lemon, halved π
π¨π³ Instructions:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) π₯
Pat turkey dry and season generously with salt & pepper π§
Rub butter and olive oil all over the skin for crispiness π§✨
Stuff cavity with garlic, onion, lemon, and herbs ππΏ
Place turkey on a roasting rack over chopped carrots & celery π₯π±
Roast for 3–3.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes with pan juices ⏱️
Check internal temp: 75°C (165°F) in the thickest part π‘️
Rest turkey for 20 minutes before carving πͺ
Serve with gravy, roasted veggies, or mashed potatoes π π₯
